FAQs

Where do our grapes come from?

All of our wines are made from our own vineyards. No other grapes and/or juices are added to our wines.

What types of grapes do we grow?

RED: Merlot, Cab Franc, Petite Verdot, Pinot Noir

WHITE: Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, Pinot Gris

How many acres are planted?

Dartmouth has 8 acres planted; Westport has 13 acres planted.

What is the ideal temperature for serving wine?

Whites: chilled(45-5 degrees F) for a few hours in the refrigerator.

Reds: slightly cooler than room temperature(about 65 degrees F); younger fruity reds benefit from chilling.

Sparkling Wine or Champagne: thoroughly chilled; refrigerate several hours or the night before serving.

Dessert wine: slight chill or room temperature.

Chilling tones down the sweetness of wine. If a red wine becomes too warm, it may lose some of its flavor.
